Launching a New Token
Tokens are launched with a default supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, providing a robust foundation for new projects.
1B token supply to be divided between launchpad buyers and LP:
- ~690M tokens are sold in the launchpad phase
- ~310M tokens go towards the LP post-launch
These are battle-tested tokenomics from popular launchpads such as Pump.fun.
Step-by-Step Launch Process
Step 1: Conceptualize Your Token
Begin by brainstorming a unique idea for your token. Consider what value it brings to the community and how it will stand out in the competitive landscape of DeFi.
Step 2: Establish Your Social Presence and Brand
Create social media channels to build awareness and engage with your community. Set up accounts on X (Twitter), Discord, and Telegram to foster discussion and generate excitement around your project.
Step 3: List Your Token
Navigate to the Launchpad section of SpookySwap and select “Launch Your Own Coin.” This initiates the token creation process.
Step 4: Define Your Token’s Identity
- Choose a creative token name
- Select a unique ticker symbol
- Give your token an informative description (~500 characters)
- Design and add a distinctive logo
Step 5: Enter an Initial Buy (Optional)
As creator you can enter an initial buy-in if you choose.
Step 6: Add Your Social Links
Incorporate the links to your social media accounts. This transparency helps potential investors connect with your project and stay updated on developments.
Step 7: Create Your Token
Once all details are finalized, proceed to Create Token. This formally establishes your project on the SpookySwap Launchpad.
Step 8: Build Momentum
As your token gains traction, encourage community members to buy in on the bonding curve. Once your token reaches a market cap of 75K S, you’re on your way to liquidity. Creators and users can pump their tokens using in-app chat or promote in the Spooky degens channels on Telegram/Discord.
Step 9: Secure Liquidity
When the presale reaches the target market cap, ~16K S (all collected S) will be paired with your token and deposited into a SpookySwap V3 Liquidity Pool, locking token liquidity and launching the token. New tokens will be listed on the SpookySwap token list upon presale success.
A portion of the tokens will seed a 2-month official SpookySwap V3 Farm for wS/TOKEN, encouraging long-term liquidity and community engagement.
