What is BOO?
BOO is the native utility token of SpookySwap. It plays a critical role in the SpookySwap ecosystem.
What can you do with BOO?
Governance
When it comes to important decisions, BOO is the community’s voting power. Farm emissions, new protocol partnerships, and which farms are active are all decided by community vote.
You can also access voting from the SpookySwap app (menu → Vote).
Voting weight examples
- 1 BOO in single stake or in your wallet = 3 vote points
- 1 BOO in liquidity pairs = 5 vote points

Buyback and Partner Pool Staking
You can stake your BOO in the buyback BOO (xBOO) pool to automatically earn more BOO and partner tokens.
Flywheel overview
- Buy/farm BOO
- Stake BOO in the xBOO pool → receive xBOO as your receipt
- Stake xBOO in partner pools to earn partner tokens
- Provide LP in partner farms to earn more BOO
- Repeat
A portion of all trade fees on SpookySwap is used to buy BOO, which is then distributed to BOO stakers in the single-stake pool. Your staking receipt is xBOO; you can stake xBOO in partner pools to earn additional tokens.
Using BOO as Collateral
Other protocols may accept BOO as collateral or integrate it in various ways. Consult those protocols’ docs for specifics.
